Astrodyne TDI is looking for an NPI Technician for EMI Filters who is hands-on, works well in a team environment along with being an excellent team player with a positive attitude. Our NPI Technicians will work with design and manufacturing engineers during all stages of new product development and manufacturing, including creation of prototypes and fixtures, performing testing, failure analysis and troubleshooting of EMI filters and Power Distribution Units (PDU).
A minimum of a H.S. diploma/GED is required. An associate degree in Electronic Technology or similar discipline with minimum two years of experience working on Electronics is a preferred. The candidate must have a practical understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts and work with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, etc.) and have hands on mechanical experience. In addition, must be able to read and understand schematics, identify power electronics topologies, and troubleshoot based on given information. The candidate should also have good communication skills, communicate effectible, write comprehensive technical report and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
