Financial Planning Analyst

The Financial Planning Analyst will be an integral member of the Finance group and will support Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing strategies by providing information for decision making, performance measurement, risk management and strategic planning. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing a Data Warehouse structure to allow for business analytics reporting; financial modeling; and be instrumental in working with the organizations on forecasting, planning, and budgeting.

• Business partner to organization providing reporting and analytics on budget vs. actual results, forecasting, budgeting, and risks/opportunities.
• Develop & implement business intelligence tools and reports to track / monitor KPI’s
• Develop financial models and analyze business for improvement opportunities
• Lead budgeting and forecasting process for Finance
• Support Executive team with data driven analysis
• Improve various sales and commission reports
• Various other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or experience

Experience working in manufacturing environments with multiple product lines

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

5+ years preferred

OTHER REQUIRED TRAINING:

• Strong command of the English language and written communication
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience designing and implementing financial models/KPI’s/metrics using reporting tools
• Experience with large ERP systems and ability to data mine large amounts of data
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with multi-national legal entity structure
