Astrodyne TDI is looking for an Engineering Technician for Power Supplies and Conducted Emissions Filters who is hands-on, works well in a team environment along with being an excellent team player with a positive attitude. Our Engineering Technicians will work with engineers during all stages of prototype construction and testing, including creation of fixtures, product modifications, performing failure analysis and troubleshooting of prototype switching mode power supplies, system controllers, and conducted emissions Filters.
A minimum of a H.S. diploma/GED is required. IPC Certification highly preferred. An Associate’s degree in Electronic Technology or similar discipline with minimum two years of experience working on Electronics is a preferred. The candidate must have a practical understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts and work with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, etc.) and have hands on mechanical experience. In addition, must be able to read and understand schematics, identify power electronics topologies and troubleshoot based on given information. The candidate should also have good communication skills, communicate effectible, write comprehensive technical report and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
