Overview

Position Summary:

 

Astrodyne TDI Customer Service Team has an immediate opening for an individual to increase Customer Service and Sales. This position will be based out of our office in Hackettstown NJ and offers a great opportunity to work closely with our Outside Sales Teams, Operations, Engineering and Customers. In this role you will be responsible for effectively managing service sales from proposal to long-term client relationship. A successful Inside Sales Rep will utilize their customer relationship skills and inherent drive to increase sales across the organization and provide world-class support to our customers.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Oversee key accounts and customers to meet short and long-term strategic business goals
  • Enlist and utilize sales analyses to research, evaluate and forecast incoming orders and releases.
  • Provide sale assistance to our outside sales and field service teams for assigned territories.
  • Oversee the customer experience from quotes, orders, inquiries, status updates, and shipping information.
  • Proactively informs customers about issue status, clarifies any questions, and ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and acts on regular statistics (e.g. forecast) using available tools and collecting relevant information.
  • Tracks regular target performance and provides results to management and ensures accuracy of documentation including shipping, invoicing, and finance systems.

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Someone who is energetic, self-motivated, and flexible in tasks.  A team player that can help cross-functionally and has strong communication skills.  Experience with Electronic Sales is an added benefit.  Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively as evident in the accuracy and precision of the work. 

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with previous relevant work experience
  • 5-10 years of work experience in a fast-paced customer service-related position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a self-driven, dynamic business environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to use discretion and make decisions independently
  • Proficient with MS Office especially Excel and Outlook
